Getting There
We'll leave this part of the holiday to you so you can travel at your leisure, however we have provided some useful information below to help you plan your journey. Whichever way you choose to get to here, driving in France is a pleasure compared to driving in the UK.
France is well connected to Britain and Republic of Ireland with a good selection of airports and ferry ports.
Fly/Drive
You can fly from a selection of UK and R.O.I. airports to Brest, Lorient, Nantes, Dinard and Rennes. Most airports provide car hire.
Sail/Drive
For UK travellers there are sailings from Portsmouth, Plymouth and Poole providing flexible day and night sailings with Brittany Ferries, LD Lines and Condor Ferries. For those wanting to explore Northern France first, you can also sail from Calais and Newhaven with PO Ferries, LD Lines, Norfolkines and Seafrance.
For Republic of Ireland travellers there are sailings from Cork & Rosslare with Brittany Ferries and Irish Ferries. The french ports are Roscoff, Saint Malo, Caen, Le Havre, Cherbourg, Dieppe, Calais & Dunkirk.
